Yash Chopra was cremated.

B-town legendary director-filmmaker Yash Chopra breathed his last on 21st October at 80 in Leelavati hospital, suffering from Dengu and multiple organ failure. Death of the legend was a great shock for the whole Bollywood fraternity and hence there is gloom around the tinsel town. Yashji’s death induced almost the entire the B-town celebs to gather at his place to give their final tribute to the dear director.

Yashji was given funeral the previous day at Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai and the entire Bollywood arrived at the YashRaj studio to give the legend their last tribute. Yesterday early morning,Yashji’s body was kept on the third stage of the studio, roofed with white flowers for all, to give him (Yashji) their final reverence. And a huge black and white photo of the director was also kept near his body, en-wrapped with numerous enlighten candles. All was done in a very pathetic, yet graceful atmosphere. Everyone present there seemed mum and hart-broken.

Apart from the common folk, lots of B-town celebs like ike Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Shahid Kapoor, Tabu, Ramesh Sippy, Gulzar, Subhash Ghai, Shyam Benegal, Prem Chopra, Ashutosh Gowariker, Shankar- Ehsaan- Loy and many more were seen in the YRF studios. This was the last ever chance for all to have a glimpse of the most romantic director of the B-town. And we are sure, that his place in the B-town can never be filled again!
