Remo D’Souza and Prabhu Deva to pay tribute to pop legend Michael Jackson through ‘ABCD’!

Most of you must have known what ABCD is, we suppose! It’s  Bollywood director Remo D’Souza’s first dance film in 3D. Popularly known as “AnyBody Can Dance“, the movie is slated for February 8, 2013 release. Of course, it’s one of the most talked about and awaited movies for the following year. But do you know what’s special with the movie? You mightn’t! Let’s make you known.

In fact, the duo famous choreographers of the industry, Prabhu Deva and Remo D’Souza are reportedly going to pay tribute to their idle, pop legend Michael Jackson, through the movie. Informing the essence of the report, Remo who directs the movie said, “Yes, it is true that we have thought about this. We want to execute it when we shoot our next song where Prabhu features with me.”

Expressing her hearty reverence for the late legend, he further added, “Everyone knows how deeply I respect Michael Jackson and when I’m doing a film on dancing, it is impossible to not have something on him.” Well, we knew that the duo dance choreographers are about to shake their legs together in a song, but knew not that it’s a tribute to the ace legend. Really great thought!

The movie also will feature Prabhu matching steps with Madhuri in certain song of the film and this will be the second number they have joined forces, after their last release Pukar in 2000. Shooting of the song will be done at manifold locations in Mumbai including Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Dharavi.

The movie features ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya in the cast along with the popular global television talent show “So You Think You Can Dance” winner Lauren Gottlieb in the lead. Apart, it too features the Indian dance reality show “Dance India Dance” winners Salman Khan, Dharmesh, Prince, Mayuresh and Vrushali.
