Aftab Shivdasani makes no one responsible for his career as an actor.

B-town actor Aftab Shivdasani initiated his Bollywood career as a lead actor at the age of 19 in Ram Gopal Verma’s “Mast”, but yet couldn’t establish him as a successful actor in the industry. And that might be a cause why the actor was away from the industry for long two years post his last release “Bin Bulaye Baraati”. While the actor considers it an ill-fated turn in his life, but never blames anyone for this.

He says, that being an actor was a sole decision of his and hence never blames anyone for this. “My journey has had lots of ups and downs. I have received accolades, criticisms. I don’t blame anyone for my failure. I take responsibly for my career decisions. This industry works like that, there are risks. Having said that, I am grateful to God for everything that has come my way so far,” said the actor.

Aftab is well-known in the industry as an actor since childhood and has acted in many films like “Mr India”, “Shahenshah”, “ChaalBaaz” and “Insaniyat” as a child artist. As a grown up actor, he has also earned accolades in the movies Kasoor”, “Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai”, “Awara Paagal Deewana”, “Hungama”, “Footpath”, “Masti”, ” Koi Aap Sa”. But to his misfortune, yet he has not become able to esatblish himself as a first-rate actor in the B-town.

However, after long two years Aftab is ready to make his big screen comeback in Vikram Bhatt’s next generation horror flick ” 1920: Evil Returns,” which is a sequel of the original 2008 flick 1920. The actor plays the protagonist in the movie and it’s directed by Bhushan Patel and stars Haunted 3D actress Tia Bajpai in the lead.

Giving slight hints on the movie, Aaftab said, “I was not at all apprehensive about working in the sequel of ’1920′. The only common element between the first film and the second is the title, other than that everything is new, from characters, to look, to story. The film has been shot in Malmoe, which is southernmost province of Sweden. This is the first Indian film that has been shot in Sweden.”

The movie is slated for November 2 release and stars Sagar Saikia and Vidya Malvade in other lead casts.
