Arjun-Esha

Arjun Rampal and Esha Gupta in Prakash Jha’s ‘Chakravyuh’.

B-town actor Arjun Rampal is all set with his upcoming project Chakravyuh  in  which he is playing the character of an IPS officer, SP Adil Khan and the movie is slated for 24 October release. And we have told you earlier, about the special preparations the actor has done to play this versatile character as a RAW agent. However, the actor feels somehow different about the character in the movie.

Of late, talking about the nature of a character that impresses him the most in a movie, Arjun told reporters, “I like a role when initially it scares me, when the character scares you that, whether I can do it or not. Every character I thought can be easily done, went wrong.”  It was the occasion of music launch for his forthcoming movie Chakravyuh , where the actor expressed so. But, talking about the character choice of his director Prakash Jha, he said that whenever he has worked with him, he (Prakash Jha) has always given him roles that are beyond scary and allow you go beyond too. Really tough!

However, during his talk the actor went candid saying that his next movie of course is special ‘coz director Prakash Jha has acted with him in a special scene in the movie. And he considers it a historical moment as ‘(Jha) kept the juiciest dialogues and the best set for himself, for his scenes…’ and he confesses that the scene came out wonderful and is supposed to be in the film.

But, when Prakash Jha was asked about his experience as an actor, he said, “There were some junior artists like Arjun Rampal because of whom I have not been able to keep that scene in the film.” The movie features B-town emerging actress Esha Gupta in the opposite lead and too stars Abhay Deol and Manoj Bajpayee in other prominent characters.

So let’s make this Dusshera more festive with the romantic thriller of Prakash Jha! What say?
