Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.

You must not have forgotten the controversy that got created during the release of  the ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ promo in Pakistan. The promo was banned there following the ground that it was anti-Pakistan in nature and hence there is huge suspicion around considering the release of the movie in Pakistan! As says the buzz, the movie being about an Indian intelligence officer will of course be banned there.

But director of the romantic thriller Kabir Khan is quite positive about release of the movie in the neighboring country. Recently, in an interview he expressed his optimistic thought saying that the movie has no derogatory references to Pakistan and hence there is no reason, why it would be banned in Pakistan. According to him, the Pakistan censor board would of course allow the movie to get released in their country, once they watch it.

Apart, Pakistan being a country with a huge fan-base of Salu Miya, and being the movie slated to release on Eid, Kabir thinks these two factors would be proved added advantages for the movie to help it get released in Pakistan. When Kabir has crossed his fingers on the issue, yet we wonder if his prediction would really bear fruits!
