Rajnikanth to play God in the ‘OMG Oh My God’ remake!

What of short we came to hear is that Khiladi Kumar’s much talked about forthcoming flick OMG Oh My God is soon going to get a Tamil version and guess who is going to adorn Akshay’s place in the remake! He is none other than the ace Tamil superstar Rajinikant. That Rajini, a real life god for his hordes of appraisers is going to give the God character in the movie a pretty unlike direction; Is there any doubt in it? No, never!

However, Akshay’s original version of OMG Oh My God is yet on wait for its release and meanwhile there goes a conspiracy for its Tamil remake. Really great! By the way, the idea of remaking the film arose when Ashwini Yardi, Akshay Kumar’s business partner in Grazing Goat Productions i.e. producing Akshay’s OMG Oh My God starring Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar, wanted to sell the rights of the movie to any filmmaker in South and hence South filmmaker Krishna Prasad grabbed the opportunity.

Of late, Krishna flew to Mumbai to meet Ashwini to settle the deal via Rekha and Chinni Prakash who has choreographed a song in the original version of OMG and the deal also got finalized. Revealed a close source, “The meeting was fruitful. Prasad will soon be making a film with Rajinikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush. He will use his good offices with Rajini to rope him for the south remake of Oh My God.”

Well, not bad! And with Rajini playing the character of God in the movie, Akshay and Yardi are also making a joint venture with Prakash. This will of course depict a superb combination of Bollywwod with South. And with Rajini in the God avatar,  just imagine what leap the movie is going to give! Isn’t it so guys?
