Huge response for ‘English Vinglish’ in the Toronto Film Festival!

Gauri Shinde’s most talked about imminent flick English Vinglish is all set to hit the Indian theatres on October 5 (Friday), but the movie made its gala premiere at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival on September 14 to rave reviews by the global audience. The movie, which is also considered to be a comeback film for the beautiful B-town actress Sridevi after long twenty years, gathered immense praise and standing obviation at the Roy Thompson Hall, the which scene was worth-watching of course.

The movie, that has been featured on the life of a middle class woman Shashi (Played by Sridevi), who struggles to learn English for the contentment of her family and to get rid from the stifle of her children, was really heart-touching and made the audience realize the language problem they confront while it comes to International languages. So the audience present in the hall went besieged and gave the movie huge applauds. Apart, the cameo made by mega star Amitabh Bachchan in the movie multiplied the joy for the whole audience.

Well, producers of English Vinglish Sunil Lulla and R. Balki define the movie in their own point of view. While Sunil Lulla defines it a simple yet gripping story, wonderfully directed by Gauri Shinde, R. Balki classifies it as the outcome of the mutual efforts by both the director and producers. However, defining it’s expected outcome in the Indian theatres, Sunil says, “There has been a very warm buzz around the film since its first look came out, including outstanding reactions at its recent premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. We are looking forward to similar reactions in India and rest of the world on its trilingual release worldwide.”

Anyways, eyeing on the terrific response for the movie in its world premiere and the huge buzz accompanying it in Indian continent, we too expect somehow same reactions for the movie in Indian theatres too. So, let’s hope for the best!
