Shah Rukh Khan was against doing love stories!

The Superstar is known in the industry as love guru and yet was anti doing love stories! How so? Can you believe, if we say B-town superstar Shah Rukh Khan was against making love sagas and hence was out of his genre for such a long duration? Of course, you will not. But you have to believe it, ‘coz it’s a truth confessed by King Khan himself.

Of late, the actor took to his twitter page and twitted “I was so anti doing love stories because I thought I am not good with them. I remember Yashji tell me, till you love, nobody will love you back. So true.” We too, for a time went dumbstruck seeing such confirmation of Shah Rukh and hence tried to go into the depth of the issue. But, all our investigations came to a halt when we knew it’s a truth!

Well, if we take a look at the career milieu of the actor, we shall find him initiating his career as an army man in the television show Fauji and soon made his Bollywood debut with the love saga “Deewana” in 1992. The actor for the first time came in contact with legendary director Yash Chopra in the year 1993 and made his first film Darr with him.

Soon we saw a strong combination of Yashji and King Khan in the movies like “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” (1995), “Dil Toh Pagal Hai” (1997), “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” (1998), “Mohabbatein” (2000), “Veer-Zaara” (2004), “Om Shanti Om” (2007), and “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” (2008). And these were the movies that made him reputed as a love guru overnight. This became his genre in which he could do his best.

Hence, we went bit confused when saw such shocking revelation from the superstar. Anyhow! He is back to forces with his specific genus with the last but not the least directorial venture of Yashji, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, where he will be seen romancing the sexiest lady of the world Katrina Kaif and B-town budding actress Anushka Sharma. The movie is slated for 13th November release and we desperately wait to see one more Shah Rukh love dhamaka back this Diwali. But, what about you friends?
