Amirkhan's Satyamev Jayate to debut on May 6, 2012

“My dream is to impact lives.” I speak here not about my dream. Then guess whose! I do talk here about the dream of Bollywood superstar Amir Khan, who is already on the final stair of his dream to debut his much-hyped television show “Satyamev Jayate”, the following day (Sunday: April 6, 2012). The show is based on real-life stories that are expected to inspire millions of Indians.

“This was most ambitious project with which I had lived closely for two years. India is a country of many languages and if I want to reach every one of them, I should reach it in their language of comfort”, Said the 47 years old legendary actor during an interview.

“Satyamev Jayate”, the phrase is too familiar to every Indian and is encoded on the Indian national emblem and on all Indian currency notes. The phrase with a chaste and patriotic meaning “Truth only Triumphs” undoubtedly will have great impact on every Indian. Being a country of custom and religion, people here emphasize on the power of truth and hence the show is supposed to be a grand success.

The show is going to broadcast athwart all imperative channels of Star Network in about eight languages. And more importantly, it is not constrained in India only. Apart India, the show will be relayed over 100 countries across the Globe. A partial coverage of the show skin tones video demo of Amir moving across the length and breadth of the country, and meeting people from diverse sections of the society. The thrilling composition by Ram Sampath and incredible lyrics by Prasoon Joshi, makes the sequences more heart-touching.

Being asked a question about the most challenging aspect of India for him during the shooting of “Satyamev Jayate”, he said, “By understanding them better, I have come closer in many ways to our country and to the people of the country. I have been through different emotions.. felt exhilarated, traumatised, sad… I have cried, laughed and felt inspired everytime.” So the essence of Amir’s emotions will be better elucidated with an answer to the queries that arise in the mind of the readers while going though this editorial.

Talking about his TV debut show Satyamev Jayate, Aamir Khan said, “Over the last few years I have often been approached with various television shows. But none of those that were offered to me really excited me. I work only if I’m excited about it,” said Aamir Khan, while commenting on the show. “What excites me about television is its power and reach, its enormous potential to connect with people. And this is what I want to use. I want it to be an enriching experience, for me and for my audience.”

Having a talk about his TV debut show “Satyamev Jayate”, Mr. Perfectionist replied, “Over the last few years I have often been approached with various television shows.
