Resul Pookutty denies to have blamed Amir’s show!

Few days ago, we had let you informed about the Oscar-winning sound specialist Resul Pookutty who brought a serious allegation about Bollywood superstar Amir Khan’s ‘Satyameva Jayate’ saying that the show was manipulated. This claim of course was a huge blow on Amir’s Perfectionist image and for pretty sometime it created huge buzz around the B-town. But what’s interesting twist soon took place in the story was Pookutty’s refutation to have said nothing like that! What the hell? How can he say so? All of us had heard him said so!

But Mr. Pookutty was not at all agree to accept the truth and said, “What I was trying to do was explain the difference between a live show, or a debate show and a show like Satyamev Jayate. I was talking about designing sound mainly for films and narratives. We design sound, so that the audience’s emotions are manipulated. We want the audience to laugh at some point, to cry at some point. For example, take a background score based on ragas that has an element of pathos to it. Now, if we put that into a sad scene, it enhances the sadness of the scene.”

Then what he was exactly trying to say? Is it that he wanted to deliver us gyaan on the musical shastras and ragas that undoubtedly move beyond a world convenient to us! However, after this statement, Rausel’s life has almost undergone a drastic change and he even confines to have forgotten his sleep. And he has lost all his contacts with Amir though has tried several times to be in contact with him.

Well, though Amir hasn’t commented anything yet on the issue, yet his khamoshi says us many more things and we fear if Resul hasn’t to pay heavy for this remark of his! Time will say what’s going to be the outcome, but for now we hope Amir takes the matter easy. Don’t you want so friends?
