Karan Johar always considers London his second home and we have told you earlier about it too. Also you must not have forgotten the prestigious designation and invite that KJo was provided by London before. Then it was obvious, that the promotional event of Karan’s upcoming flick Student Of The Year in London was to be welcomed with open arms, but we had never thought that it would get such overwhelming response. The response even left KJo dumbstruck.

During the promotional events of SOTY in London, the three lead actors Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt turned the center of attraction for all and the hall meant for the press conference was filled with fans. That was a tremendous sign of the movie shimmering in popularity beacon even before its release. The post conference visit of KJo with his dear students to some of the malls in London also saw the crowd cheering them all around.

That’s what called popularity and we had never seen any other B-town director getting such awe-inspiring rejoinder in London. Not this much, Karan also got invited there by one of the international channels for interview. And what you think must have been the reaction of Karan on this? The director was much ecstatic on such grand reception by the English.

Expressing his happiness, said KJo, “It’s been overwhelming travelling with the team of SOTY. The response to the three newcomers has been fantastic. London received us with open arms and the crowds cheered the kids with love and warmth. They even sang along as songs of the film were played. It feels great to see the energy the film is generating.”

The movie is slated for October 19 release and the immense response for the movie in the promotional events make us realize, perhaps one more KJo dhamaka is back on track. What if the movie features debutants as lead actors! We hope it’s going to be a big hit. Don’t you think so readers?
