Akshay Kumar to act without any lady love in his upcoming flick!

What the heck? Akshay Kumar and devoid of any romance! You might get awestruck with such offbeat tune of ours. But it’s a truth and this will be perhaps the first time ever in his 21yrs long carrier that the hunk will monopolize the plot without any love interest. The upcoming flick is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam film ‘Pokiri Raja’ and director Anthony D’Souza will direct the movie.

The upcoming flick is expected to be named as ‘Naam He Boss’ or ‘boss’ and Akshay will be seen fitting into the shoe of Mammooty in the movie. The 2010 original version was featured with a lead star cast of Mammooty, Prithviraj and Shriya Sharan and this time Akshay will sole taste the difference of time in the movie. We hope you can understand what difference we do talk of.

Revealing about the solitary appearance of Akshay in the movie, a source close to the project told, “It is for the first time that there will be no heroine opposite Akshay Kumar in the film. He is playing the role of Mammooty. But there will be two young newcomers – one hero and heroine.”

Apart from featuring Akshay and two newcomers, the Hindi remake also casts the legendary actor Mithun Chakraborty. Script of the movie is written by the two writers Sajid and Farhad and they are too hectic on their account too. Giving a brief report about the script, they said, “We are writing the screenplay and dialogues for this film. The basic plot…soul of this movie remains more or less same. But we will definitely make a lot of changes considering the presence of Akshay and the audience.”

While the movie is all set to go on floors this month last or the following, we are keen enough to have a glimpse of the new character of Akshay. Let’s see how best he is without any love interest!
