Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra bagged a film to Katrina’s loss.

B-town starlet Katrina Kaif is busy shooting for her upcoming Amir Khan starrer movie ‘Dhoom 3’ in Chicago and is hardly having time for any new project right now, being her diary jam-packed. But, of late we have come to hear that the babe has rejected Ali Abbas Zafar’s forthcoming project Gunday, though she liked its script. Then question arises, what made Katrina take such decision? Has she lost it?

But, no! There is something else. In fact, Kat came across a wrong notion that the film was initially offered to actress Priyanka Chopra. Hence, she denied it abrupt, devoid of any further thought. But, on proper investigation, it got revealed that there was no such decision taken by the filmmakers. However, by that time the movie was already with Peece and there was no other source left for Kat to bag it. So, ultimately, Katrina’s loss became Priyanka’s gain! Isn’t it readers?

However, an innate source confirmed the issue saying, “News of PC bagging the film right under her nose is not true. Katrina loved the script of Gunday, but she had given her dates for the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film Knight And Day with Hrithik Roshan already. And that’s why she couldn’t do the film. She wanted to be part of the film. Kat has worked with Ali in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and the two get along very well. She is also a close friend of Arjun (Kapoor), who’s in the film. Even though she let go of the film, she hangs out with Ali Abbas and the gang. News of Priyanka being the first choice is not true.”

Well, all goes well when wisely put and we hope this prove a wise decision of Kat and to say of Peece, we would like to congratulate her on her new gain. All the best Priyanka!
