Jab Tak Hai Jaan team

‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ team in Jalandhar to start promotion of their movie.

The three Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma paid a visit to Yashji’s hometown ‘Jalandhar’ to promote their upcoming flick Jab Tak Hai Jaan (JTHJ) on Wednesday. They too inaugurated a new media course there in the Doaba College, in which Yshji had completed his studies. And what reveal the sources, the JTHJ team started their promotion from Jalandhar only, being this was the last wish of Yashji.

Jalandhar was the most favourable and scrumptious place for the legendary director and sources say that he had a wish to visit his hometown with the entire team of JTHJ prior to his death. And that’s why regarding his wish, the YRF team started their promotion journey from Jalandhar only. Giving details of their promo plans, the YRF spokesperson said, “We were to start our promotions for JTHJ with Yashji taking his cast to Jalandhar. This is their tribute to him.”

Howver, experience for the lead actors of JTHJ during the tour was too emotional and what reports we do have, the leggy lass Katrina was particularly enthused. And this is because the actress had become too close to Yashji during the shoot in London.

Giving details of Kat’s condition during the tour, a source said, “She had become lately very attached to Yashji, almost the father figure missing from her own life. During the long shooting schedules in London, Yashji would sit and talk about life with Katrina. He would take genuine interest in her life, ask about her family, her home, her dreams. She had never shared a rapport like this with anyone.”

During the trip, Yashji’s son Adi and his son Udaya were reportedly not present in the crew, ‘coz, Adi likes not public appearances and Uday was busy arranging the grand premier of JTHJ, going to be held on Monday. However, their place was replicated by Shah Rukh, Katrina and Anushka, being they had become so close to Yashji by his death and they were no less than his own children.
