karan Johar turns choreographer!

Who knows not Karan Johar aka KJo, who has created a firm space for him in the B-town as an ace film director. None of his directorial ventures have we seen facing the blur of time. He is best in his own genre i.e. love saga and who can ever forget the KJo directed movies like Kabhi Khusi Kabhi Gam, Mohabattein etc.! But, how will you behave, if we say that our dear director is also a good choreographer! Of course, we have seen him judging many dance reality shows. But it was quite out of our mind’s eye that one day he will also turn a choreographer! Had you ever thought so friends?

Well, the episode took place in the shooting set of his latest directorial venture Student Of The Year, where KJo turned a dance director with the song Ratta Maar. Though he directed the whole song, but denies to take the credit of choreography in this flick. According to him, a director should only take the credit of direction, though he gets involved in every aspect of filmmaking.

However, Karan thinks that his decision to turn a choreographer was completely provisional and talking about this decision he said, “Since there was no choreographer available on that day, I thought I would do it for a day and get a choreographer subsequently. But I liked what I saw and decided to direct the whole song. The fact that it was a lip-sync song picturised on first-time actors was an addded challenge.”

Karan’s forthcoming directorial venture SOTY has been adorned with the choreography of many top choreographers like Farah Khan, Vaibhavi Merchant, Bosco, and Remo Fernandes. Being professional choreographers of the world, they evidently choreograph well. But, we must wait to watch the talent of KJo in his new directorial charisma i.e. dance direction aka choreography! Right friends?
