Ameesha Patel attains her 38th Birthday!

June 9 not only celebrates the birthday of the Kapoor babe Sonam Kapoor, but it celebrates the b’day of Bollywood glamour doll Ameesha Patel too. The beautiful actress turns 38 today. She was born on June 9, 1975 and today is one more blissful juncture for her to rejoice with friends and family. Having finished her studies at Tufts University in USA, the sexy siren made her début in the blockbuster Kaho Naa Pyar Hai (2000) opposite to Hrithik Roshan.

The consecutive hits like Gadar. Ek Prem Katha (2001) created a hullabaloo in the BO and she became a star over night. Soon the young lady was in high demand and was offered with many Hindi and Telugu films. But her later movies could hardly touch that sky of success which her initial movies had done. She was born and brought up in Mumbai and was a student of the Cathedral and John Connon School there. She is the daughter of Amit Patel and Asha Patel.

Before getting into Bollywood, the sexy gal was working as an economic analyst at Khandwala Securities Limited for sometimes and later joined Satyadev Dubey’s theatre group after returning to India. She also acted in many plays, including an Urdu language play titled Neelam (1999) with the permission of her conservative parents. In chorus, she also stepped in the modeling world having made her presence in varied commercial campaigns. Apart, she has also modeled for many well-known Indian brands like Fair & Lovely, Cadburys, Fem, Lux and many more.

These days, she is reportedly too hectic with shooting schedules for her upcoming two movies, Shortcut Romeo (opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh) and Abbas Mustan’s thriller Race 2. Even she is going to work with her own production after completion of these two projects.

Anyways, we wish a very Happy Birthday to Ameesha Patel and wish the year may bear good fruits for her!
