Ranbir Kapoor completes five years in Bollywood.

B-town superstar Ranbir Kapoor completes five years in the industry and narrating his know-how in the industry he said that his journey in Bollywood was ‘wondrful’. The actor who debuted his B-town career with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2007 flick ‘Saawariya’ is quite a brand name in the industry now and his directory is lined up with numerous films from the first-rate directors of the industry.

Though his first film was not a grand success in the industry, but that couldn’t stop him from proceeding ahead and the actor managed well to establish himself in the industry after giving some back-to-back hits like ‘Wake Up Sid’, ‘Rocket Singh’, ‘Rajneeti’ and the recent ‘Barfi’.

Talking about his experience in the B-town Ranbir said, “Today I have completed five years in the industry. ‘Saawariya’ came and went in a day while ‘Barfi’ ran for several days. The journey has been good and wonderful.” I want to do more films and more exciting characters. I am looking forward to doing good work. It feels great to be here. I feel I have got lifetime achievement award,” he further added.

Ranbir commenced DVD of ‘Barfi’, directed by Anurag Basu, and starring Priyanka Chopra and Ilena D’cruz along with him. Even the film has been nominated as India’s official entry for Oscars in the best foreign language film category.

Expressing his views about Barfi’s Oscar nomination, he said jokingly, “We are happy that the film has got nominated as India’s entry to the Oscars. But this is just the first step. I hope the concerned committee selects our film or else we will send dada (Anurag Basu) there.”
