Dilip Kumar to celebrate his birthday in Pakistan.

Bollywood old hand actor Dilip Kumar is all set to celebrate his 90th birthday this Tuesday, but in a magnificent and totally different way. You might think, what different way! In fact, the actor who has still celebrated all his birthdays in India, is about to celebrate his upcoming birthday for the first time in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province, Pakistan, which is his real birth place. Dilipji had taken birth there before he migrated to India.

The actor’s birthday this time is going to be celebrated in Peshawar by the Cultural Heritage Council (CHC) of Khyper Pakhtoonkhwa. Giving the details said an Indian official, “The CHC has decided to celebrate the 90th birthday of the legendary actor for the first time ever.”  Apart, he informed that CHC has invited numerous personalities including film stars, journalists, lawyers, peaceniks and commoners to celebrate the actor’s birthday.

However, Dillip Kumar aka Mohammed Yusuf Khan is not celebrating his birthday this time in Mumbai for the sad demise of many popular B-town faces and still is grieving for them. The previous year had seen a lavish bash at his Pali Hill residence on his 89th birthday among the B-town prominent stars like Yashji and Rajesh Khanna. But, this year both of them have left this world and it’s definitely shocking for the veteran actor.

On the other hand, the Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa administration is in constant effort to get hold of the ancestral home of Dilipji in Pakistan and preserve it as a national heritage monument. So, the actor must be feeling blessed getting such reverence from the Pakistanis. Right? We too feel proud for him, being he a part of  the Indian film fraternity.
