Dara Singh passes away.

Veteran actor Dara Singh is no more! After struggling for life complete five days, the wresteler-turned-actor passed away early this morning at the age of 84. After the doctors declared scarce chance of his recovery, his family members had taken him home back yester night with the hope, that he could spend his last moments with them.

This morning at 7.30 AM, he passed away peacefully and his death saw the end of another era in the history of Bollywood and wrestling. The legend was admitted into the suburban Kokilaben hospital on Saturday night after getting a severe cardiac chaos and was kept under observation in the ICU. Ventilator and other support systems were removed only after his death.

Wrestler to some and an efficient actor to others, Mr. Singh was dear to all. For more than 50 years he was an active actor in the B-town and has possessed more than 140 films to his name, including classics such as “Anand” and “Mera Naam Joker”. Also he is accredited with 500 professional fights in his wrestling career and all unbeatable.  Overall, it was a fabulous journey of life.

We do render our heartiest condolence to Mr. Singh’s family. May his soul rest in peace!
