Bollywood mourns the sad demise of veteran actor AK Hangal

Veteran actor A K Hangal passes away.

Bollywood veteran actor and theatre artist AK Hangal breathed his last on 26th August at Asha Parekh hospital in suburban Santacruz, following a pithy infirmity provoked by a fracture on his thigh bone. The actor was 95 years old during his death and his death has made a huge space in the Bollywood industry. The B-town fraternity mourns the death of this old hand actor in many terms.

Shabana Azmi: “A K Hangal no more. An era comes to an end. Theatre and films were enriched by him.”

Shekhar Kapur: “A K Hangal. Lifetime dedicated to the art of acting in theatre. Will always be remembered by his films.”

Arshad Warsi: “I had the pleasure of working with A.K. Hangal in “Tere Mere Sapne”, my first film… May his soul rest in peace.”
