Ashmit Patel and Sara Khan to lead Vinod Chhabra’s Saawariya – Khatu Shyamji Ki Amargaatha.

Director Vinod Chhabra is geared up to start shooting for his next flick “Saawariya – Khatu Shyamji Ki Amargaatha” and shooting of the movie is about to set up at a devout location in Rajasthan, Khatu Shyamji. Times since, Rajasthan has been the centre of attraction for many filmmakers because of its scenic beauty and religious backdrop. And this movie is also no way barred from the trend.

However, shooting for the movie is soon to start in the auspicious place and for that the star cast of the movie reached Jaipur on Monday evening. It’s revealed from the innate sources that the movie features Ashmit Patel and Sara Khan as the lead couple. The storyline of the movie is based on a family drama and it will feature Ashmit as Prem and Sara as Meera.

Giving bit hints about the plot of the movie, Chhabra said, “Family values have taken a backseat, with filmmakers increasingly making films revolving around sex, murder and violence. I want to bring a change in this trend by making films like Hum Saath Saath Hain, Nadiya Ke Paar and Baghban. We need to have our tradition in mind and should bring the same taste to cinema.”

It’s really nice to see the director planning to make a retort to the family values and you must not have forgotten we suppose, the immense popularity the familiar movies like ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, and ‘Baghban’ had gained in past. Hence, of course we expect that this effort of Chhabra will bear fruits. However, the director is much aspirant about the pairing of Ashmit and Sara and hence says, “Sara and Ashmit’s pairing will surely strike the right chord with the audience.”

Well, while this is going to be the Bollywood big debut for Sara, we eagerly wait further to see if she really becomes able to stand upto the expectations of her director. What you think guys? Will she cope well with the professional Ashmit?
