Few days ago, we had let you informed about the allegation and legal notice filed by a senior lawyer Navkiran Singh against the movie ‘Son of Srdar’ owing the ground that the movie hurts the religious feelings of the Sikh community and had demanded to erase such scenes from the movie. While this whole duration we were eagerly waiting to know about Ajay Devgan’s reaction on this issue, finally the producer has opened his mouth in defense of his movie. He clearly anticipated the claim with no negative response and stated that his movie will not hurt anyone’s sentiment; rather the content of the film will portray the Sikh community in a buoyant way.

Ajay claimed this fact on Tuesday after the All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) insisted the clergy to take instant action against the actor-producer, due to the above said allege against his movie. Defending his movie from these rising misconception, Ajay said, “My film Son of Sardaar does not hurt anybody’s sentiments. I’m from Punjab and I have lot of respect for the community and culture as anyone else and the last thing I would do is to hurt anyone. In fact, I’m very proud of the community.”

Besides he also remained adamant with the affirmation that the movie is has been made under the guidance of “knowledgeable people” and hence there is no ground of any such allegation. What he says about the movie is that it is based on a Sardaar and hence no way it’s going to  disregard the community.  “At no point you will find any element of disrespect. The protagonist of the film is a Sardaar so the film will showcase a very positive projection of the community. If you could just wait for the release and then come up with your comments and opinion. Trust me, we all will be proud of the film,” avowed the 43-year-old actor.

Directed by Ashwini Dhir, the movie Son of Sardar also features Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt and is slated for Nov 13 release. But what you think guys? Will the Sikh community accept this spat of AJaya and will withdraw the claim? Let’s see what’s bext!
