Aamir Khan is much engrossed to make India free from Malnutrition.

Seems, Bollywood superstar Amir Khan is in attempt to make India a perfect country. Bright instance of his endeavour is his recent appeal that he made to the grass root level health activists to make the country free from malnutrition. The superstar on Monday pleaded to the grass root level health activists and the local administration to make the mission thriving.

In a recent media campaign against malnutrition Aamir appealed so saying, “I appeal to the ASHAs, Anganwadi workers, sarpanchs, you are the foot soldiers. I appeal to all of them to take this very seriously and make this movement successful. “

ASHAs (Accredited Social Health Activists) are community health workers formed by the government to support in the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) and Anganwadi workers are the people who work under the Integrated Child Development Service programme of the government, as a vicinity centre for health-care deeds like contraceptive counsel and contribution, nutrition education, supplementation, and child care.

Going a step ahead Aamir explained the effects of malnutrition and said “The damage in first two years does the damage that stays throughout the life.” He further tried to enrage the fire of patriotism among the citizens saying, “If you love your country join the movement. How will India become a super power if we are effected by malnutrition?”

Aamir from ages is known as Mr. Perfectionist and we have seen him participating in varied social awareness programs numerous times. He even aired a social awareness program ‘Satyameva Jayate’ in the beginning of the year that received accolades from various parts of the globe. We appreciate the hunk for his praiseworthy attempts to make the country perfect like him and we wish him all success in his ventures.
